30 Game Recap
Again, no highlights of any of the season games. The season started on April 10 with the Marlins and Rays battling for the win. The Rays defeated the Marlins 2-0. The Rays, however, haven't been on their game after the win, but they are now on their game. The Marlins remain one of the bests. Speaking of the bests, here's a list of the top 5 best teams in the league (based on winning percentage)...

Draft and Spring Training Recap
Over the last few weeks, the draft and Spring Training had started without me highlighting it. This headline will highlight them. The draft had ended last week on the 30th. NOTE: Most owners who didn't attend will be kicked out before Opening Night on Tuesday. Most owners didn't attend, and next season, it will change and I will be more strict than I could of been this season. Next year, ALL owners who don't attend will be banned from the league FOREVER. Even if the owner is active but still doesn't attend, I won't care. All teams who don't attend will have their picks skipped instead. More will be included later in the season. As for spring training, the Rays again finish on top at 14-1 like last season. Here were the best records of spring training.

Indians win AL while Brewers win NL in Divisional Finals
The Divisional Finals came to an end. All together, the Indians came on top after a shocking two game performance against the Rays and the Rangers to win the finals. The Brewers were expected though. Although they could face each other, I chose not to. That will happen in the conference tournament on Thursday. The Conference Tournament will last from March 8 to March 13. Again, the upcoming events.
March 8-13: Conference Tournament
March 24-30: Draft
April 1-5: Spring Training
Reminder: All rewards promised will be awarded at the end of this tournament if you are wondering. Good luck.

The finals of the conference is tomorrow, with the AL having the Indians vs Rangers while the NL has the Brewers vs Braves. After this, the Conference Tournament will begin about Thursday or Friday. The next tournament should last from March 8 or March 9 to March 13 or March 14. After that, it's all off-season for 10 more days until the draft begin on March 24. More detail on the draft will be provided soon, perhaps starting later this week or next week. For now, good luck to these teams in their finals. Finals Finished; Divisional Finals Tomorrow
The finals are finished. In the end, the Rays take the AL East, the Indians take the AL Central, the Braves take the NL East, the Brewers take the NL Central and the Giants take the NL West. There were some upsets too, like the Marlins loss to the Braves and the Rockies loss to the Giants. The winners of these finals will all be in the next part of the tournament, called the Divisional Finals. Two of the best teams will play each other and the worst team will have a bye. In this case for the AL, it will be the Rays vs Indians and the Rangers will have the bye. (Best teams determined by the winning percentage.) For the NL, it will be the Brewers vs Giants and the Braves will have the bye. This will begin tomorrow, and the overall winner of this tournament will be awarded with having their draft spot moved up by one. The winners of the of the previous finals will also be awarded "On Fire" points. (All "On Fire" points and other rewards will be awarded at the end of these tournaments.) Good luck.

Divisional and Conference Tournament
Although not much people have voted on the survey, I'm having these tournaments anyway. The Divisional Tournament will start possibly tomorrow March 2 and end about March 8. A championship would be provided during the Divisional Tournament, in which I will try to make it work. A Conference Tournament will be provided too. It should start about March 11 and end around March 15. Then, the draft will start March 24. So, upcoming events this month:
March 2-8: Divisional Tournament
March 11-15: Conference Tournament
March 24-30: Draft
So, until that draft, I suggest to do some scouting and pay attention to all the good players. However, right now I'm kicking the inactive owners out of the league. The message will soon be sent, but not now. Good luck in all the events this month.

The Off-Season
I've been thinking about the off-season recently. I think there should be some sort of an event in the middle of the off-season. The off-season is nothing more than a month of nothing, and I think there should be something in-between. But I want your opinion on this. Please answer the survey below about this idea.

SURVEY CLOSED
There are some events I need to elaborate on. I'll explain each event below.
- DIVISIONAL TOURNAMENT-A tournament in which all of the teams in a divison play each other in a short tourney. There will only be one game and the winning team in each divison will earn more "On Fire" points and will move up a spot in the draft. All 5-team divisions will play at first normal. The division winner of that division will earn a bye, and the other 4 will play. #2 vs #5 and #3 and #4 will play each other. The next round will consist of a bye for the weakest team who won the last round to keep it fair. The #1 team will play against the strongest team who won the last round. The winner will play the weakest team in the Finals. The AL West will consist of 2 rounds, Semifinals and Finals. The NL Central will consist of the quarterfinals in which the top two teams (In this case, the Brewers and Cubs) will have byes and the other 4 will play. The top two teams will play each other in the semifinals and the other 2 winners will play each other. Then the finals. If this is chosen, it will last from March 8 until around March 11.
- "SHORT SEASON"-A short season consisting of 21 games which will last about a week. The top 3 or 5 teams will earn "On Fire" points or an extra draft spot. If this is chosen, it will go from March 13 to March 20.
- CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT-A tournament in which all teams in the conference play each other. The AL will have 7 matches in the first round and 3 matches in the next round in which the best team from the last round will have a bye. The semifinals will consist of the best team which had a bye against the worst team. The remaining two will play each other. Then it will be the finals. The NL will have 8 matches in the first round with NO byes, then a semifinals, then the finals. The winner of both tournaments will play each other. All of these games will be one day long. If this is chosen, it would last from March 7 to March 11.
- SERIES REMATCH-A rematch between the two World Series contenders from this year. It will last 7 games from March 8 to March 15. In this case, it will be the Angels and Marlins.
- MORE SERIES REMATCHES-A rematch between any team from any playoff series from the past 2 seasons. For example, the NLCS between the Astros and Brewers rematch. There will be 4 rematches chosen, and will last 7 games, so a week. The winner of each of these series will receive more "On Fire" points. If this is chosen, it will last from March 14 to March 21. NOTE: A poll will later be made if this is chosen to vote on which rematch you want.

Sandberg,Marlins defeat Angels in 14 innings;Marlins claim title
The 2012 World Series has a new champion this year. Their name is the Miami Marlins. The underdog Marlins lead the way through 6 games to outlast the Favorited Angels. Ryne Sandberg hit the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 14th inning to win the final game of the season. The Marlins were leading the first three games of the series, but were failing to keep it that way. The Angels won the next two games, but failed to win Game 6 which cost them a second World Series title. But with the World Series done, the 2012 season is done, too. The 2013 Draft will be held next month on around March 24. The draft will last until March 30 and Spring Training will begin on April 1 and soon following the Opening Night. The "Non-Signers" Draft as I call it will last from the middle of the the last week of March. The "Non-Signers" draft is a draft where all the teams that have not signed players will draft until they reached close to the number of players that the other owners have such as 18 or 19. This WILL NOT occur next season. I will force owners to sign NO MATTER WHAT. IT HAS TO BE DONE! Most owners are inactive and I'm tired of it. Next season, you will have to be active in order to stay in the league. There will be a number of changes next season that I will remind you of in the future. So PLEASE STAY ACTIVE AND SIGN CONTRACTS NEXT SEASON OR YOU WILL LOSE A SPOT IN THE LEAGUE. Remember, the draft is next month. Scout players until then. Congrats to the Marlins, and good luck to all on an upcoming new season.

World Series Begins
The World Series began today. Sean Carmichael and the Marlins got the best over McClain and the Angels with the Marlins's 2-0 victory. The Marlins got their 9th win this postseason, and the Angels, unlike last year, lost for the 2nd time. The Angels last season finished 12-1 in the postseason, but the best they can do this year is a 12-2 record. So far, 3 owners think the Angels will win while 2 think the Marlins will pull off an upset. The series will end around, at the earliest, Saturday and, at the latest, Tuesday. The series probably won't go into Game 7, but it may. If it does, it'll end on Tuesday unless if I simulate 2 games in one day. Good luck to the Angels and Marlins in the next games.

World Series Coming
The Championship Series has ended as the Marlins outlasts the Cubs in Game 7. The underdogs of the Championship Series, the Marlins and Angels, will play against each other in the World Series on Wednesday. No one has guessed the World Series correctly, so no rewards will be given to the Playoff Challenge contenders. The Angels again beats the Rays in 5 games like last year and the Marlins and Cubs battled until the very end, but the Marlins came on up top. A poll will be put up to see who the owners think will win. After the World Series, the draft will begin in around the end of March, so until then, scout and enjoy the world series for now. Good luck to the Marlins and Angels.

The Championship Series has began. So far, the Cubs are leading the Marlins in the NLCS after Game 2, and the Angels and Rays are tied in the ALCS. Remember that the winner of each of these series will play against each other in the 2012 World Series. The Cubs and Rays were the favorites to win, but the Rays need to be lucky to do so considering that there facing the Angels. The Angels lost only one game so far this Postseason. The Championship Series may end as early as Saturday or as late as Monday. Good luck.

Division Series Playoff Challenge
With the end of the Division Series, the Playoff Challenge is giving out rewards. Most of the guesses had the Rays and Angels again in the ALCS. Here are the owners guesses that got the Championship Series correct.
bkk-Guessed Rays vs Angels in ALCS
soonerrex-Guessed Rays vs Angels and Marlins vs Cubs in ALCS and NLCS
wahoowasp-Guessed Rays vs Angels in ALCS
All those owners guessed correctly, and soonerrex of the Astros guessed both right. The Astros' players are awarded 2 "On Fire" points at the end of the postseason and the Rays' and Brewers' players each get 1 "On Fire" point. There are still chances for them to earn more rewards in the World Series. Good luck to the Rays, Angels, Cubs and Marlins in the Championship Series.

Division Series Conclude;ALCS and NLCS Coming
The division series came to an end with an exciting ending to the Rays and Red Sox series. The other series ended early, but these two battled each other until the very end when Bonds and the Rays came on top in Game 7. The Angles finished early, completing a sweep over the Indians on Thursday. The Cubs were next. The favored Brewers was brought down by the Cubs in 5 games, and the Marlins were next finishing the D-Backs in 6 games. And with the Rays and Angels along with the Cubs and Marlins, these four will be in the Championship Series for a bid to be in the World Series. The Rays and Angels happened to be playing each other in last season's ALCS. The Angels easily beat them in 5 games last season, with their only postseason loss to the Rays. The Cubs and Marlins are new to the playoffs and didn't make it last season. Will the Rays get revenge, or will the Angels have other plans? Will the Marlins or Cubs win. Find all this out when the Championship Series begins on Tuesday the 7th. Good luck to all these teams.

2012 Division Series
The ALDS and NLDS in action.
The division series is into day 2 as some teams continue to win. The Cubs are leading 2-0 along with the Angels by the same results. The Red Sox winning game one, and the Rays winning game 2. The Marlins winning game 1, and the D-Backs winning game 2. That's what's going on right now. However, the Red Sox, Indians, D-Backs and Cubs will be at home for the next 3 games coming up. Can the Brewers and Indians still make it? There trailing 2-0 in their series however. One more loss and their on the brink of elimination. But their are still many games left possible on all the series. The latest the Division Series can end is on Sunday, while the earliest is on Friday. I wish these teams luck, for this seems like tough teams here to defeat.

Playoff Stage Almost Set
The 2012 Playoffs are almost set. The AL Central is the only division yet that hasn't clinched. The White Sox and Indians are tied for division league. The division battle between these two will be in the final series on Friday. If the White Sox fail to sweep, they'll be eliminated. Of course, either one of them can be eliminated tomorrow. The NL Division Series is set, though. Number one Brewers are hosting the Wild Card winner Chicago Cubs. The 2nd seeded Marlins are against the Diamondbacks. For the AL, only one match is clear right now. League's best Rays and the Wild Card Red Sox. The division winner of the AL Central (Indians or White Sox) will face off against the Angels. The Division Series will begin on Monday the 30th. The Playoff Challenge is still going on until now on Sunday. Only one owner has submitted a guess. Please do so, for I will greatly appreciate it. Good Luck in the playoffs!

2013 Season Changes
UPDATE: All teams will also have to sign at least 10 contracts so the draft will have less rounds just for non-contract signers.
The playoffs is starting soon, and the new season will begin before you know it. There are a few changes that will come into effect
starting next season. One is the ending contracts issue. Owners will be able to end contracts by demand next season and be able to change the number of years in their player's contracts. You'll be able to also share your ideas of how I can improve the league. The more ideas, the better the league will be. However, the biggest issue this league has is the number of inactive owners. Starting next season, ALL new owners WILL have to be active. I will send them a message that will say something like this...
" Welcome to MLB 2K13! By joining this league, you must promise that you will stay active and browse and edit your team every week or 2 weeks. If you fail to reply back to me by 5 days, you will unfortunately be booted from the league. If you are to be inactive for a few weeks or a month after joining, you will be booted as well. You must also try not to leave. If you leave or plan to leave, you must message me to tell me the reason for quitting. This league will improve by you doing so. I hope you do this all things, and have a good season."
The schedule will change too. ALL teams will play next year. Every day-off team will be paired with another team with a day-off. There may be more changes in the future, but these are a few that you should be aware of for next season. Good luck to the playoff teams.

Regular Season Situations
The Regular Season is to end this Friday. So far, only one team has clinched, the Marlins, who leads 16.5 games over the Braves with 15 games left. The other divisions are close to being clinched. The NL Central's leader Brewers are leading by 11.5 games over the Cubs. The D-Backs are leading 7.5 games over the Giants. The NL Wild Card race is wild. The Cubs, Giants and Astros are all tied for the wild card and the Rockies are only 2.5 games back from those three teams. The Red Sox are close to taking the wild card title. They are leading by over 13 games over the Yankees. Just one win and a Yankees loss will put the Yankees in jeopardy. The AL Central's leader Indians are leading by 2 games over the White Sox and 8.5 games back from the Twins. All of these situations will end Friday or maybe sooner. Good Luck to the teams who are in race for the playoffs.UPDATE: The Red Sox has just clinched the AL Wild Card following a win and a Yankees loss.

Playoff Challenge
Playoff Challenge
As you know, the season will end next Friday and the first playoff series begins on the 30th. It's a perfect time to start the Playoff Challenge. I give credit to yankeesfan, the co-commissioner, for creating this idea, only it's my version. The idea is to message me your playoff guesses. For example, you would probably say that the Rays will beat the Red Sox in the Division Series along with the Angels against the White Sox. Then, you'd say that the Rays will win the ALCS and win the World Series. Here is how you win and the awards...
- If you guessed the Championship Series correctly, your players will be awarded with 2 more "On Fire" points.
- If you guessed one of the Championship Series correctly, your players will be awarded with 1 "On Fire" points.
- If you guessed the World Series and the WS winner correctly, your players will be awarded with 3 "On Fire" points and your team will move up by 2 draft spots.
- If you guessed the World Series correctly but not the winner, you will move up one draft spot.

AL wins All-Star Game again while Bonds wins MVP
The American League yet again wins the All-Star Game by a score of 10-8, and Barry Bonds wins the MVP award. With the NL scoring 8 runs in the 2nd inning, the AL storms thru out the game to send it into extras, where Bonds hits a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th. Mario Soto was the winning pitcher and Brain Wilson lost. With the NL loss, AL proves yet again that they can bounce back after 2 straight derby losses. Barry Bonds seemed to do better than Brady Anderson did last season. With his .270 AVG, 4 H, 3 R and 3 RBIs, he dominated the game.

Sosa wins Derby; NL claims HR title yet again
The NL's Sammy Sosa is this year's derby winner. And yet again, the NL wins the HR title slamming a total of 46 HR, one more than the AL. Last year, it was Hank Aaron vs. Babe Ruth in the final, and went into the 5-round tiebreaker. This year, it was Sammy Sosa vs. Luis Gonzalez in the final. What may have been another tiebreaker, Sammy Sosa ended it early, something Hank Aaron couldn't do last season. With Gonzalez slamming 5 homers, Sosa was trailing by 1 homer with 9 outs. With 2 more home runs, Sosa was able to surpass Gonzalez by hitting his 22nd home run, but was 5 short of Aaron's record 27 home runs. But with the game tomorrow, how will Sosa or Gonzalez do? Good luck to all the All-Stars and the managers in the game tomorrow night.

All-Star Voting Starting Soon
As it approaches Day 90, the All-Star game is coming. It will begin on Wednesday, December 28. The voting will be made through-out tonight and tomorrow afternoon and should be ready be tomorrow night. There will be a voting page with a survey all over the page. Please take the time to vote and maybe even have some suggestions on who should be in there. Choosing them is not easy. It requires a lot of thinking. An update for this year's game is that more pitchers will be in the game. Pennantchase requires at least 10 pitchers, so the poll will have at least 20 pitchers. The current winning rosters will be updated daily. Another thing, the Home Run Derby will consist of the top 8 home run hitters with 4 in each league. This time, the players in the derby don't have to be in the all-star game. THE DATE WILL PROBABLY CHANGE IN ORDER TO MAKE MORE DAYS FOR VOTING. The latest it can be played it around January 1 while the earliest can be December 27. The all-star break WILL last about twice the time as last year, so every date scheduled WILL be changed. Another update: The all-star managers will this year be chosen by the other owners. That's all.

Regular Season Starts
The first 6 games of the regular season has just been played. So far, shocks have been revealed. Check it out for yourselves, just like the Spring Training. Opening Night was given to the Brewers and Astros, in which the Astros won by the score of 8-3. The match was also the rematch of the NLCS from last postseason. Only this time, the Astros got their revenge. A page more about the Regular Season will be made by tomorrow. As of now, the Braves are undefeated after 6 games and the Red Sox are undefeated after 3 games following their days offs. This was just a brief post on what's going on. Good luck.

Spring Training Commences
The 2012 Spring Training has started and it's getting wild. The defending AL and NL champs, the Angels and Brewers, are undefeated right now after 6 games. We also have some shockers out there. The Padres are 6-0 and the Phillies are in 1st place at 5-1. The Mariners are 4-2 after a 4 game win streak to start spring training. Think of these shockers as a preview of what we're going to see in the regular season. Spring training will end on Saturday and the regular season will begin on Wednesday. If your in 1st place, congrats on your success!

More Draft Updates
The draft is almost to an end. Tomorrow will be the last day and Spring Training will start early on Tuesday. With the draft, all teams now have at least 25 players, so every team is drafting today and tomorrow. As I said, the inactive owners will be kicked from the league after the draft to bring in fresh owners. Other than that, the 2012 draft is upon it's ending, so good luck to you all and make the best man win!

The draft just ended it's 3rd day, and their are things I need to clarify. ALL teams who had less than 25 players signed will be drafting over the weekend. All teams with at least 25 players as of now will have their pick skipped in order to draft for the other teams. The teams with 25 players right now will be drafting on Monday and Tuesday for 4 picks then the draft will be over. The draft MAY continue over November 9 depending on the number of players a team has. So the dates for the draft is uncertain, but the draft HAS to end before spring training next week. After the draft, ALL owners who are inactive, (And haven't logged back on since July, August or September), WILL be kicked out of the league in order to bring in fresh, new owners into the league. This will make the league more competitive. Good luck to you all in the draft!

Signing Deadline
The signing deadline for ALL players was supposed to be on Sunday. However, I need more time to figure out the contracts, so the deadline is extended to next Tuesday the 25th. If anyone knows how to advance the contracts contact me through the message center. Remember that the draft is approaching on November 1st. For the teams who didn't sign anyone will be draft all 5 days of the draft or more. The rest will go through only half the days and free agency will be turned on along with trading. Then, the supplemental draft is about 1 to 2 weeks after the draft. The draft schedule for the 5 days is on the "2012 Draft" page. Until then, start planning for the draft!

Postseason Finished; Angels sweep Brewers
In the final series of postseason, the dominating Angels swept the Brewers to win the league's first World Series. With the postseason finished, I'll be preparing for the 2012 season. The draft will probably be in the beginning of November. During the time, you can sign players on contracts or make a list of your draftees for the draft in November. The order will be determined by record. The 2012 Spring Training schedule will also be released very soon for November. Unfortunately, free agency will be off during the offseason to make room during the draft. You all be patient and the offseason will end in the beginning of November.

2011 Playoffs in Action
The 2011 Playoffs are here! The awards have been handed out for the players who won them. Congrats to Babe Ruth and Sammy Sosa on winning the MVP award. Bob Gibson and Dwight Gooden have also won an award for Cy Young. The schedule for the playoffs will be on the "2011 Playoffs" page. They're may be a league history page just like the league has to offer. IF YOU HAVE ANY RECORDED DATA FOR RECORDS, PLEASE NOTIFY ME, ASAP. For example, Mordecai Brown was the only pitcher who threw a no-hitter as far as I know. If you have found any other no-hitter, please contact me. Good luck to all the teams who made it. The playoffs will go on 'til around Mid-October.

All-Star managers announced!
Today, I have chosen the 2 owners of who will manage the Al and NL. The AL manager is bkk (Rays) and the NL manager is soonerrex (Astros) The Rays are truly the league's best team and the AL's best team. The Astros are the 2nd best in the NL, but the owner got manager because Cooper of the Mets was not active enough. The managers have been following the roster rules, so they will stay as a manager. The All-Star Game is on Tuesday night.
